Another thing that you may start thinking about at this time is the future. If you havent done it already then by the time you become a grandparent, youre probably going to start thinking about your last will and testament, finances and other affairs.

This is a good time to develop an estate plan if you dont already have one. If you are financially able, you may also want to plan for your grandchildrens college or other expenses. If you plan to help with this, be sure to talk with the parents (your children) about your decision.
