Homemade Play Dough, Slime, & Bubbles RecipesWhat do you do when it’s raining outside, or it’s summer vacation and the kids are bored? Well, make some of these fun and easy recipes of craft items with your kids and in no time the boredom will be gone—replaced by laughter and smiles.
Fruity Homemade Play Dough Recipe(smells great, but doesn’t taste good)1 cup flour Mix all dry ingredients in bowl then add oil and boiling water (start with 3/4 cup then add more if needed). Mix thoroughly, then let cool before playing with. Store in fridge in an air tight container and it will last a couple of months.
Perfect Homemade Play Dough Recipe2 cups white flour Combine water and food coloring, then add to remaining ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture comes together (about 5 minutes.). Allow dough to cool until you can handle it and knead it until smooth (about two or three minutes) Store in airtight container.
Homemade Slime Recipe3/4 Cups warm water In a medium bowl combine 3/4 cups warm water with the glue and the food coloring. Set aside. In a second bowl combine the borax and the remaining 1 1/3 cups of warm water Pour the glue mixture into the borax mixture, but DO NOT STIR. Allow to sit for 60 seconds or so until slime forms. Caution: Slime will stain fabrics. Also, Borax is toxic in large quantities, so do not let your children eat the slime.
Giant Homemade Bubbles Recipe2/3 cup dish soap Combine all ingredients slowly and enjoy. |
